Jim Harries serves the people of East Africa, primarily through a Bible teaching ministry using the Luo and Swahili languages. He has lived in East Africa since 1988. Jim has authored 14 books and many academic articles, with a focus on the promotion of missionary vulnerability. (Not mission to the vulnerable, although it may be that also, but mission by the vulnerable.)
